To access, upon arrival in Italy, the health assistance of the Italian National Health Service you must have an STP – Foreigner code temporarily present, which allows you to take advantage of urgent and essential care, such as access to the emergency room, vaccinations, the prescription of clinical examinations, specialist visits and drugs. The STP code is issued by public health facilities with the declaration of their personal details.
